Tel Aviv financial markets are staging a broad recovery, with all major equity benchmarks trading higher and market breadth turning decisively positive. The strongest gains are concentrated in mid-cap and broader market shares, while banking, value and sector benchmarks are also participating. Bond markets are comparatively stable, reinforcing a generally constructive tone across Tel Aviv financial markets.

TA-90 Leads the Recovery as Equity Market Breadth Strengthens

The TA-35 has gained 0.98% to 4,186.05 points. Its internal participation is strongly positive, with 26 advancing securities compared with only 10 declining securities and no unchanged securities. The combination of a near 1% index gain and positive breadth indicates that the recovery is being supported by a broad group of large-cap constituents rather than by a limited number of heavily weighted shares.

The broader TA-125 has advanced 1.03% to 4,084.76 points. Market breadth is particularly strong, with 104 advancing securities compared with 22 declining securities and no unchanged securities. This substantial difference between advancing and declining securities provides a clear indication that buying interest is widespread across the broader Tel Aviv equity market.

Mid-cap shares are leading the advance. The TA-90 has climbed 1.20% to 3,772.71 points, with 78 advancing securities and only 12 declining securities. The strong breadth reinforces the magnitude of the move and indicates significant participation across the mid-cap segment.

The TA-90 and Banks Index has also risen 0.81% to 3,997.91 points. Its internal participation is firmly positive, with 81 advancing securities compared with 14 declining securities. Banking and financial shares are therefore contributing to the recovery rather than lagging behind the broader market.

Equity-market turnover stands at approximately ₪372 million. The combination of rising benchmarks, strong breadth and active trading indicates that the latest improvement is accompanied by meaningful investor participation.

Value and Sector Benchmarks Reinforce the Positive Market Signal

The TA-125 Value Index has gained 0.46% to 4,246.38 points. Its internal breadth is clearly positive, with 43 advancing securities compared with 13 declining securities and no unchanged securities. The figures indicate that value-oriented shares are participating in the broader recovery, although their advance remains more moderate than the gains recorded by the TA-90 and TA-125.

The TA Sector-Balance Index has advanced 0.78% to 4,678.52 points. Market breadth is strongly positive, with 80 advancing securities compared with only 20 declining securities and no unchanged securities. The breadth of participation indicates that the improvement extends across multiple sectors rather than being concentrated in a narrow group of companies.

The current market structure represents a sharp improvement from the previous session, when major equity benchmarks were lower and declining securities significantly outnumbered advancing securities. The latest data shows the opposite pattern, with the TA-35, TA-90 and TA-125 all advancing and rising securities substantially outnumbering declining securities.

The banking and sector data further strengthen the recovery signal. The positive participation across financial and sector-oriented shares suggests that investors are increasing exposure across several areas of the market rather than focusing exclusively on the largest companies.

Bond Markets Remain Stable as Equity Recovery Broadens

Fixed-income markets are also showing a generally stable performance. The All-Bond Index has gained 0.03% to 432.70 points, with 128 advancing securities compared with 94 declining securities and 138 unchanged securities. Although the price increase is modest, positive breadth indicates that buying activity remains evident across a significant portion of the bond market.

The Short-Term Bond Index is unchanged at 478.16 points. Its internal participation remains positive, with 22 advancing securities compared with 13 declining securities and five unchanged securities. The stable performance continues to provide a relatively defensive element within the broader Tel Aviv market.

Inflation-linked bonds are showing mixed performance. The Tel Bond A Inflation-Linked Index has declined 0.03% to 439.23 points, with nine advancing securities compared with 10 declining securities and 43 unchanged securities. By contrast, the Tel Bond 60 Inflation-Linked Index has gained 0.02% to 428.93 points, supported by 18 advancing securities compared with 11 declining securities and 22 unchanged securities.

Bond-market turnover stands at approximately ₪335 million, compared with approximately ₪372 million in equities. The relatively high level of activity across both asset classes indicates that investors remain engaged as the equity market attempts to extend its recovery.

Outlook: Investors Watch Whether Strong Breadth Can Sustain the Rebound

Looking ahead, investors will focus on whether the sharp improvement in market breadth can translate into sustained momentum across Tel Aviv equities. Continued participation across the TA-35, TA-90 and TA-125 would strengthen the recovery signal, while renewed weakness in banking or mid-cap shares could challenge the advance. Institutional flows, global equity-market trends, interest-rate expectations, corporate earnings and developments across the bond market will remain important factors. The mixed performance of inflation-linked bonds also warrants attention as investors assess expectations for rates and inflation. For now, the data points to a clearly more constructive Tel Aviv market, with all major equity benchmarks higher, broad participation across advancing securities and relatively stable fixed-income markets.
