Central Chiangmai and Central Chiangmai Airport have introduced a new lifestyle experience for The 1 Exclusive members with “THE 1 EXCLUSIVE: FIRST SERVE,” the first private tennis event for members to take place in Chiang Mai.
Hosted at Cross Court Club Chiang Mai, the event was designed to combine sport, lifestyle and community. Under the theme “Serve with Style, Connect with Excellence,” members were given an opportunity to participate in tennis activities while meeting other people with shared interests.
Rather than focusing solely on tennis, the experience was structured around social interaction and lifestyle engagement. The programme began with a tennis clinic led by professional coaches from Cross Court Club Chiang Mai, with sessions suitable for both beginners and more experienced players.
Sport and Lifestyle Come Together
Following the clinic, members participated in a team challenge designed to encourage interaction and create opportunities for new connections. The format allowed participants to experience the sport in a more social setting while developing their skills on the court.
Participants could also test professional-grade tennis equipment from HEAD, presented by SuperSports. The sporting programme was complemented by experiences from a range of lifestyle brands, including welcome drinks from CHAGEE and Boost and a beauty experience from Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics.
The evening continued with a lucky draw, DJ music and courtside canapés, extending the event beyond the daytime sporting activities. This combination reflected the event’s broader emphasis on connecting sport with fashion, beauty, food and social experiences.
Partners Expand the Experience
The event brought together partners including Central Department Store, SuperSports, HEAD, Nike, New Balance, K-Swiss, Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, CHAGEE, Boost, Sunnies, Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai and Cross Court Club Chiang Mai.
The participating brands contributed experiences across multiple lifestyle categories, reinforcing FIRST SERVE as more than a traditional sporting event. The programme positioned tennis as an activity that can bring together health, recreation, personal interests and community.
Building a Local Member Community
FIRST SERVE also demonstrated The 1 Exclusive’s approach to engaging members through experiences that extend beyond conventional privileges and rewards. By tailoring activities to local interests and lifestyles, the programme aims to create opportunities for members to interact in settings built around shared activities.
For members in Chiang Mai, the tennis experience offered a way to stay active while discovering a new activity and meeting others within the community. The emphasis on participation and connection reflects the increasingly social dimension of tennis among active urban communities.
Central Chiangmai and Central Chiangmai Airport said they plan to continue developing lifestyle experiences for The 1 Exclusive members, with additional activities expected to be introduced in the future.
