U.S.-based cybersecurity and IT management software provider N-able has announced plans to significantly expand its operations in India following the launch of a new Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru.

The newly opened facility currently employs more than 100 professionals and is expected to become a strategic hub for the company’s global technology and cybersecurity initiatives. N-able plans to increase its India workforce by at least 50% before the end of 2026 as demand for cybersecurity and artificial intelligence expertise continues to accelerate.

The company provides IT management, cybersecurity, and data protection software to more than 500,000 organizations worldwide.

India’s Talent Pool Drives Expansion

According to N-able Chief Executive Officer John Pagliuca, the company’s decision to establish operations in Bengaluru was primarily motivated by access to talent rather than efforts to reduce operating costs.

Pagliuca emphasized that India offers one of the deepest pools of technology professionals globally, particularly in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud security, and cybersecurity research.

The company views India as a long-term strategic investment and intends to build a strong foundation for future growth by recruiting highly skilled professionals capable of contributing to global product innovation and security initiatives.

Competition for Skilled Workers Intensifies

Bengaluru remains India’s leading technology hub and continues to attract major investments from multinational corporations seeking access to specialized talent.

However, competition for experienced AI and cybersecurity professionals has become increasingly intense as global technology companies, startups, and domestic firms compete for a limited pool of qualified workers.
