Technology stocks remain in focus as developments across the artificial intelligence sector highlight both geopolitical tensions and rapid innovation.

Nvidia has reportedly halted production of its China-bound H200 chips amid tightening regulatory restrictions between the United States and China.

According to reports, the company is redirecting production capacity at TSMC to focus on its next-generation Vera Rubin AI computing platform, signaling a shift in Nvidia’s long-term chip strategy.

AI Investment Strategy Shifts

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang suggested that the company’s recent multibillion-dollar investments in artificial intelligence startups may be its last for some time.

The company is planning to invest about $30 billion in OpenAI, while Huang indicated that a previously discussed $100 billion investment is unlikely to move forward.

The remarks come as investors closely monitor how major AI companies position themselves ahead of potential public listings in the sector.

Anthropic Reopens Pentagon Negotiations

Meanwhile, Anthropic is reportedly returning to negotiations with the United States Department of Defense after earlier talks regarding a military contract collapsed.

CEO Dario Amodei is said to be working to revive discussions with the Pentagon as the U.S. government increasingly looks to partner with AI developers for national security applications.

The development follows growing scrutiny over AI companies’ involvement with military projects, particularly after OpenAI’s reported collaboration with the Pentagon.

Apple Expands Product Line With New Devices

At the same time, Apple unveiled several new products aimed at strengthening its position in the consumer technology and AI ecosystem.

The company introduced a lower-cost MacBook Neo, an entry-level iPhone 17e, updated iPad Air models, and new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptops powered by its latest M5 chips.

Analysts say the announcements highlight how major technology firms are accelerating hardware development to support the expanding capabilities of artificial intelligence applications.
